10:43 AM ET 10.05 | UCLA lost two key offensive players in a 34-27 victory over Utah on Thursday night. Tackle Torian White suffered a broken bone and a torn ligament in his right leg. He will have surgery on Tuesday and be out for the season. Running back Jordon James sustained an ankle injury and is unlikely to play against California on Oct. 12. James entered the game as the fifth-leading rusher in the nation, averaging 141 yards per game. "The X-rays were negative, and he's wearing a [protective] boot to take the pressure off," Coach Jim Mora said. "He is doubtful this week, but I wouldn't rule him out. You never know how these things respond and it helps we have a couple extra days."

Sorry, Torian.

Tough luck Torian, get well soon. Injuries are just part oft the game, it happens to all teams.

This is why they have a 85 player roster. It could be worse ... FCS teams have a 65 player limit and NFL has a 53 player limit. So ... just roll out another D1 scholarship player!

OK ok I kid. Good luck to both players' in their recovery.

I don't know who this guy is, but I know UCLA is so over rated it is pretty funny. Roger Lodge (from the old Blind Date show) is a sports radio guy, allegedly, in LA and he was interviewing some expert and he says, "UCLA is for real" and went on about how good they are and could realistically beat Oregon and Stanford. I was like, this guy must have brain damage. This season they haven't beaten anyone, and should have lost to Utah (badly) if their dumb QB didn't throw 6 interceptions. Thus far they beat two non BCS schools, well Utah really shouldn't count as a BCS school either, and a crummy Nebraska team that hasn't beaten A D-1 program yet, and it's October. Hardly a resume worth commending. I can't wait to see them start getting blown out, starting in a couple weeks.

Spoken like a true USC fan, Sandy. Better get the pepto ready for when the Bruins play the Trojans, though.

But they have done a lot better than USC, Stinky. You should refrain form issuing your sad comments until USC begins winning again and you have time to wipe the sour grapes from your chin.
