11:04 AM ET 10.05 | Evan Turner was preparing to be traded this offseason after the Philadelphia 76ers dealt his good friend, All-Star point guard Jrue Holiday, to the New Orleans Pelicans for injured teenage center Nerlens Noel and a first-round draft pick in 2014. "I was getting ready for it," Turner said on the eve of training camp. And he knows his tenure in Philadelphia likely remains short-lived.

No other team would want Turner anyway, pointless for him to think he would be traded. Overrated coming out of Ohio State and hasn't done anything since entering the league.

I thought about this for 2-3 mins and cannot come up with suitors...sorry,bro!

Who would want him? Coming our scouts were saying that Evan Turner was going to be like Brandon Roy. The only thing Turner has over Roy is better knees.

Overrated player indeed.

QUOTE(#4):

I still can't believe they thought Nerlens Noel was worth the risk.

not only Noel- but New Orleans first round pick- that will probably be some where from 10-16 in a loaded draft

lets face it- they had to rebuild since Bynum screwed them- even if Bynum is healthy enough to be a factor- he will likely never be healthy enough to be a franchise player you can hang your hat on and build around----

bottoming out and starting over was a great idea

now they will have:

a top 3 pick at the WORST in this draft i would imagine- I am sure they are hoping for Randle or Wiggins

another top 15 pick where they can get a solid player

and 2 picks from this last draft- CarterWilliams and Noel.....

4 first rounders in 2 years- two of them being in a loaded draft is a very good way to jump start a franchise

as for Turner--- who knows what he will be- he can play some SG, some SF but needs to refine his shot and play without the ball a little better

next summer the Cavs will be in the market for a SF- and Turner may be out there......

I would first explore- of COURSE- LeBron....then

Deng
Granger

Ariza and Turner would be in that 3rd tier- maybe Brandon Rush too since he should be a healthy interesting option by then-

Relish that thought and be prepared for what comes next.
