Cavs don't expect much from Andrew Bynum early

10:48 AM ET 10.06 | Talked to Mike Brown about No. 1 pick Anthony Bennett. When talking about his power forwards, the Cavs coach first mentioned Anderson Varejao and Tristan Thompson. That was based on Andrew Bynum (still not taking part in full practices) being healthy enough to play center. While the Cavs are upbeat on Bynum, until his knees allow him to actually play a few games, it doesn't make sense to discuss him being a big part of the plans. The realistic view is the Cavs have Varejao and Tyler Zeller for center, Thompson and Bennett at power forward.

I'm not expecting anything from Andrew Bynum at all.

it would be a lot better if Bynum contributed in the playoffs than the first couple weeks of the season- that is for sure

at least Bynum is just injury prone- not injury prone and washed up like Amare- who makes almost 4 times what Bynum will if Bynum does not get on the court

I look for Drew to dominate...

They'll be lucky if they get 30 games out of him.

Shouldn't be expecting anything at all other than he will be quick to cash those NBA check every month. Something is wrong with this kid and I don't think anyone has taken the time to find out exactly what it might be. Throwing money at a problem doesn't solve it, it just makes it a costly problem. the CAVS would have done better making the most of this season and saving as much loot as possible to make a SERIOUS run at LeBron next season. All I can say is Good Luck with this headache. Should have spoken to Doug Collins before pulling the trigger on this deal. You serious overpaid.
