Cal DB Alex Logan retires for medical reasons

11:10 AM ET 10.06 | GoldenBearReport has learned that Cal defensive back Alex Logan has retried from football, effective immediately. n a letter obtained by GoldenBearReport, Logan said "Although it has been an arduous and sometimes painful experience I would not change it for anything. Cal is a great place to study and be an athlete." The 6'2", 210-pound senior cited injuries as one of the main reasons for his retirement.

Excellent! Best of luck to you Alex. That degree from Cal will open a lot of doors.

Part of it, too, is that he's not going to the NFL and he'd be playing for nothing on a truly pathetic team. He can thank both Sonny ****, whose teams are never prepared for any game, and Sandy Barbour, who doesn't know her a ss from her elbow when it comes to football coaching, for the train-wreck.
