NHL asks teams to tone down fighting display

10:31 AM ET 10.06 | The day after the frightening George Parros incident in Montreal, the NHL sent out a memo to teams asking them to de-emphasize fighting on their arena scoreboards. The tone of the memo: Let's try and tone things down, people.

What happened to Parros was tough, but not because he was hit too hard. But then again that ice really made a fist.

Perhaps the League should be more worried about potential restroom injuries...

They should consider banning hard ice surfaces and sharp skates. They're dangerous to player's health. Make the surface a flavored slurpy.
