05:40 PM ET 10.06 | Cincinnati Reds starter Bronson Arroyo isn't a big name. His stats, while always solid, aren't going to put him in contention for any regular season awards. He's not a top of the line starter, but he seemingly almost always gets the job done, despite being 36 years old. An impending free agent at the conclusion of the World Series, Arroyo is exploring his options. He'd be more than willing to re-sign with the Reds, but, he has contractual demands, demands he feels the Reds won't meet.

Contract demands at his age and track record better be reasonable.
Good guy, 3rd/4th starter for a non-contending team, but not going to command big money.

Latos & Cueto are the main guys in the Reds rotation.. then Bailey.. Arroyo may get a one year deal.. but his best years are behind him

He is at best number 4 guy in this rotatoin, maybe even #5 behind Leak. So at his age and the average pitcher he is he's not going to demand a hefty contract......but I think Cincy lets him walk if he demands big bucks.....they've got Cingrani who is just as good if not better.

The Bosox were trying to get rid of Manny and WMP was going to take his place...when Manny ended up staying, WMP was useless to the Bosox.

Arroyo has had a pretty decent career with Reds. In the 8 years Arroyo was with Reds his Win- loss record was 105 wins and 94 losses. in all 8 yeas Arroyo never missed a start and never on DL. He pitched over 200 innings all 8 years. Offensively he hit 6 HRS And put down 75 successful sac bunts with a best of 16 this past season. Arroyo could make some team a good number 4 or5 starter. he is pretty much a fly ball pitcher and would better suited for bigger ball parks.

The bigger the ballpark the better...he's given up 314 career home runs, including 104 the last three years!
