Distractions challenge Alabama

07:25 AM ET 10.08 | For their part, Alabama's coaches and players are delivering a unified public message. Five days after the announcement of junior safety HaHa Clinton-Dix's indefinite suspension, their focus, they said, remained on what they could control heading into Saturday's game at Kentucky. ... "We just don't worry about it," quarterback AJ McCarron said. "It's not affecting me as a person. It has nothing to do with me. It has nothing to do with anybody else. It's whoever it's going on with." ... Saban's focus, meanwhile, was centered on getting Alabama's players to do the "right things, the right way at the right time." That doesn't include worrying about the public's perception of the handful of suspensions, arrests and other negative press the program has received in recent months, he said.

The distractions include such things as attending class and homework.

I guess what AJ is saying is that there have been so many violations here that have gone unpunished that we just ignore them...

Bama never does anything wrong. Saban is perfect. You are just hating on Bama and don't know what you are talking about.

Distractions? Here's the distractions:
... the Jadaveon Clowney soap opera
... the Mack Brown soap opera
... the Lane Kiffin soap opera
... the Condoleeza Rice playoff committee soap opera
... the Penn State sanctions soap opera

These things are distracting fans from the facts in the DJ Fluker and Ha Ha Clinton Dix violations. The other stuff is selling more ad space right now so it gets top billing.

We are all enjoying piling on; being the top dog brings the attention, and when issues are uncovered the fun begins.
Will be interesting to see if this impacts the Tide's on-field performance.

A challenge?.......getting out of bed in the morning and putting on there socks is a challenge for Bama players.

You know the answer to that!

Poor bayou aggies will lose by 30. Florida offense will have a field day against that crappy defense.

He would never have gotten suspended until a 12th violation at LSU!
