11:13 AM ET 10.08 | New Orleans Pelicans fans held their collective breath when they saw Tyreke Evans go down in the first preseason game. He didn't return, nor did he play in the second preseason game, so it looks as if this may be a serious injury. However, according to reports, he will be fine to play in the season opener. The Pelicans completed a sign-and-trade with the Sacramento Kings for Tyreke Evans, and signed him to a contract for four years and $44 million. They open the season on Oct. 30 in New Orleans against the Indiana Pacers.
