07:12 AM ET 10.09 | Gang Green, after Monday's win in Atlanta, stands at 3-2 and only a game behind New England in the AFC East. The team some thought was the worst in the NFL has shown a pulse and is keeping football season in New York alive right now while their crosstown rivals are already the walking dead before Halloween. [The Jets] admit they have used those low expectations from every expert, prognosticator and TV talking head to fuel them. ... "We knew we were much better than what we were being given credit for," [Rex Ryan] said on a conference call Tuesday. "To say that absolutely what the national media and people like that think about us and the negative comments, to think it doesn't put fuel to the fire, of course it does. ... I'm not going to lie and say that it doesn't spark you a little bit."

3 - 2 coming off a strong game on the road against the Falcons. After they brutalize the pathetic Steelers this week they'll be 4 - 2. Hate all you want.

Watch out for Rex's exhaust!

And someone needs to teach the interns how to spell.

I've got to admit, Otis, not me. I had them at 3 wins for the season.

Anyone who says they did see this coming is full of crap.

Fun to watch from afar...

Fooled me. In the new NFL any team that plays a little above average ball is a serious threat every Sunday. In the homeless shelter even the man with a little change in his pocket is rich.

Got to give them credit, even Rex. He's keeping his mouth shut and is coaching the defense well. And Geno is showing some chops. Now that the circus has left town, they're getting down to playing football.

If Rex isn't careful, he might just save his job.

I was TOTALLY fooled. I'm waiting for someone to say they "knew it all along".

They are rushing the passer with their d line.....Something they haven't done since we had john Abraham Their secondary is rough.....but when you have good line play in both sides....you can compete

Yes. That is what I saw. Looked a lot like old time football. So much for running QBs and all that stuff. Weird year.

Rex is starting to poke his chest out again...

The slogan every GM should have tacked up on their wall.

Then again, they could easily be 1-4. They got a call against TB that saved that game and let Buffalo come back to tie the game.

Even the Falcons with that terrible D came all the way back and tied it. One Smith TO could have cost them.

I still don't think Smith is a real starting QB that can take them anywhere. One game without turnovers doesn't mean he has turned the corner. He has to put a few games together before I trust that.
