07:14 AM ET 10.10 | Considering how many might wonder about NFL life with Jim Harbaugh, any extra exposure could be welcome. [Harbaugh] likes to keep things close to the vest. But that doesn't mean the 49ers coach is against his team being featured on NFL Films' "Hard Knocks" reality show. "If that's something we were in position to do, then we'd certainly do it," the 49ers coach said on Wednesday. ... [Harbaugh] He even threw out a few more ideas while he was "thinking out loud," while being asked about the NFL's new rule. "I think it'd be good if there was a, kind of a criteria," the 49ers coach said. Harbaugh wondered if the selections would be based on how a team finished the previous year. Harbaugh compared it to how coaching staffs are chosen for the Pro Bowl and Senior Bowl events.

Heard this morning if no team volunteers for the show the NFL will select a team and they will have to do the show, and it sounds like the owners are going to approve this.

Agree completely. This only proves money trumps decision making.

Hard Knocks may not be good for the team in the win/loss column, but my guess is that the show brings more interest to the team/league and helps with money issues.
