UCLA QB questionable for spring
UCLA quarterback Patrick Cowan's availability for spring practice is questionable after undergoing arthroscopic surgery to remove a piece of cartilage from his left knee today. Cowan's status for spring practice, which begins April 3, will be determined during his rehabilitation. Ben Olson, UCLA's other senior quarterback, is coming off a knee injury. Kevin Craft, a transfer from Mt. San Antonio College, junior Osaar Rasshan and redshirt freshman Chris Forcier will also compete for the quarterback spot during spring practice.

Dude's a gamer. He'll be ready for training camp, and begin the season as the starter, with the freshman from Surfside waiting in the wings. Plans layed out.

I love Cowan....he's a warrior......buuuuttt, he really isn't a very good QB. He was good for UCLA the last couple of years because our QB's had virtually ZERO protection and he was the only guy who could run around and make plays. Olson was just unable to do anything outside of the pocket.
But we've got a whole new setup now. Will be interesting to see how quickly our offense changes with Yoda at the helm. I really hope they can mentor Cowan into something great.

Chris Forcier is a good one. He's a former Michigan transfer who I wish the Wolverines had now.

You said it BruinsWin, the boy "makes plays", which inturn rallies the team. Looks like they will have at least 5 QB's in camp for Yoda to mentor. Gonna be good.

It's easy to understand. I'm fresh, I'm good and some haters out there throw stones so you got to tell them to back off and respect the freshness that is you.
