07:14 AM ET 10.11 | Gang Green is no stranger to adversity, and yet this news may hurt more than most. The Jets may be without one of their best players this week. Cornerback Antonio Cromartie suffered a non-contact knee injury and was taken for an MRI exam, according to a source. The source said the injury looked like it could be serious, but was not sure of the extent. ESPN reported it was a hyperextended knee. That would mean the Jets could be without Cromartie for Sunday's game with the Steelers. ... The Jets cannot afford to lose Cromartie for any period of time. He is the team's No. 1 cornerback and they already have been playing without first-round pick Dee Milliner. If Cromartie and Milliner both can't play Sunday against the Steelers it would leave the Jets with Darrin Walls and Kyle Wilson as their starting cornerbacks.

Ah, my choice of the Steelers is looking better every day.

Another winless weekend in the Big Apple, it would appear.

Lots and lots of Jets fans, Jets haters, and just people who think about matchups, I guess. I'd say this is the most useful Jets thread in ages, personally, but I'm an OCD Fantasy Football guy. Your mileage may vary.

Jets are actually a decent team at 3-2. Surprising but the formula seems to be working.

Cromartie can't afford to lose a paycheck for any period of time either.

Except the Steelers look more like the team that was morphed in to the Steagles. Not sure Big Ben will have enough time to take advantage the situation. Jets appear to be the better team.

You don't think that the NFL is the most popular sport in America due to NFL Films, do you?

We degenerate gamblers are a contributing factor. Why else do they post an injury report?
