07:28 AM ET 10.11 | The numbers are there this year for Jaroslav Halak, who has turned away 73 of 77 shots to open the season. He's healthy -- and in a lot better shape. "Jaro didn't play (last year) because he got hurt," St. Louis Blues coach Hitchcock said of Halak, who played in only 16 games last season because of groin injuries and was 6-5-1. "If he doesn't get hurt he's playing. They both (Halak and Brian Elliott) had sketchy starts to the year and then Jake (Allen) came in and settled it down." ... Hitchcock isn't alone in feeling the lockout last season took its toll on many of the league's goaltenders. "I'm willing to throw out last year like a lot of coaches have to," he said. "There's a dozen teams that needed to throw out last year. In fairness for Jaro we needed to start from scratch again.

Is that the same as a hall pass?

Since the article interests me not, I will comment on the photo.

Honestly, the classic STL unis are by far the best of the 67 Expansion era, and are second best in the League (behind only CHI).

I like the Pens powder blue uni's from the expansion era. I don't care for their modern version of that color though.

Agree.....but I would throw in Red Wings, and the all Blue Leafs uni's....love those. And I like the 3rd Bruins jersey.....

Agree with the Hawks, but I'd (very, very begrudgingly) have to argue that the Habs are second to them. Flyers, Wings, Leafs, Blues, in no particular order.

Yeah, that's probably the top 5 or 6 to me as well.
