07:28 AM ET 10.11 | On Tuesday, it was an embarrassing 9-2 loss in San Jose, and on Thursday it was a 6-0 loss in Anaheim. The Rangers are playing like a team trying to get a coach fired, not like one playing for a coach just hired. ... [Dan Girardi] said the Rangers must begin to resemble Black-and-Blueshirts of days gone by. "We have to figure out what the [heck] is going on," he said. "We have to get back to being a hard team to play against. I can't tell you why what's happening is happening. The system we have now is real simple, it's not some crazy thing that's so different from what we're used to. But for whatever reason, we seem to be lost." ... Brad Richards also said this is unacceptable. "I want to be careful how I say this," Richards said. "Overall, it was a little bit better but not even close to where it has to be."

Simple Answer: You played defense first hockey for the past few years with the personnel we had (which by the way is not the best - see lines 3/4).

Im sorry to all the Rags fans but MDZ is just awful. Terrible skater who fancies himself as Sergei Zubov....but he aint. I wouldve sent him packing for a 3rd or 4th liner who could score when we had the chance.

Or are they a bad team like I've said for months? Either way, Lundquist's agent can't be very happy right now...

Too early to tell, but scoring is still obviously the problem...so when you have no defense you get the recent football scores.

Hank is gone!

Maybe AV could ask Hitch to give Hank one of those free passes?

P.S. I dont think Stuarts hit on Nash was suspendable. Someone tell Shanny these guys are playing at full speed, and make decision as such....and dont get to sit in their arm chair and watch it over and over and over in slo-mo

Really, 'cause they never showed up at the arena.

Except for the "Leafs gone Wild" I don't see a dominate team like last year when the Hawks couldn't lose. Wings were due to lose to the Yotes after spanking them for years, and the Bruins were blanked by the surprising AVs, which the jury is still out because the Coach hasn't had an excuse to lose it yet.
