I can't imagine how it must feel to lose a child. Condolences, peace & healing to AP.

This was very disturbing news. Even though Peterson wasn't really in the kids life, he did pay support. That's good enough for. Being a celebrity athlete is hard enough as it is.

those are some pretty high standards you aspire to, there.

I don't think I could do that.............

"Football is something I will always fall back on"

So what was his primary skill?

October 12, 2013  09:58 AM ET

You wonder what kind of idiot would do something that heinous to a 2 year old kid... then you remind yourself that idiots have been around for a few thousand years.

Sad...

Have you ever lost a child?

October 12, 2013  10:04 AM ET

The murder of an innocent child should affect us all..................

Over a million innocent babies are killed every year in the USA...

Where is the shock and outrage over their murders ????

I just wonder how long will this scum ball last in prison? Killing a child or a cop should be given the needle. I will pray for the family and my GOD bless them.

And the gurney should be waiting outside the courtroom when the gavel comes down.

The needle is too good for a brutal child killer. I know a rope or a slow frying electric chair is too barbaric but, somehow, it seems to fit the crime better.

No matter. Child killers don't fare too well in prison anyway. I bet he'll get his plumbing overhauled before he's done in. Even inmates don't tolerate his kind.

And, what's wrong with that woman messing with a psycho and putting her child in harm's way? Shouldn't she be charged with something? I'm just sayin'

Kind of early for judgment calls before the facts are known.
