09:35 AM ET 10.12 | It appears the Philadelphia Flyers will be without a pair of veteran forwards for the immediate future. As per Marc Narducci of the Philadelphia Inquirer, Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren said Scott Hartnell and Vincent Lecavalier are out "at least a week." Both players left Friday's game against the visiting Phoenix Coyotes with injuries. Hartnell suffered an upper-body injury and did not return, while Lecavalier suffered a lower-body injury.

Don't talk silly GB. What idiot of a GM would fire a coach 3 games into the season?

Well, why don't they take the healthy half of one and the healthy half of the other and ......

Nah! That won't work. They'd still be missing a heart.

You know they say you can lose a skill if you don't use it, but then you'd have to have the skill in the first place.

My take on the Philly situation is, the Lavulvalette didn't much like the fighting and they kept him 'way too long - now the players have the aversion, too. A whole lotta teams gotta start swinging some of these two way guys up and some of the floaters (old and young) down for some bus seat seasoning.
