10:31 AM ET 10.12 | The late Junior Seau's younger brother Tony has died, according to U-T San Diego. The family told the paper that Tony Seau, 36, died Thursday of an unknown cause. Junior Seau, a former All-Pro NFL linebacker, took his own life in May 2012 at his Oceanside home. It was later determined that he had a degenerative brain disease. Tony Seau was a defensive tackle at El Camino High School in Oceanside, and played defense at Palomar College in San Marcos. He also played offensive guard for the North County Cobras, a semi-pro minor league team in Oceanside. In 2002, when he was a defensive lineman at Eastern Washington University in Spokane, he was shot in the head during an argument at a party involving college students. The university president called it a senseless act of violence. Seau pleaded guilty in 1993 to attempted murder for his role in a gang-related shooting in Oceanside according to the paper, and he served time at the California Youth Authority.

Condolences to the family. That's a lot of pain to bury 2 children.

Damn! As if that family hasn't suffered enough.

Wow, what an out of line comment.

Why would you say this? It happens to be a fact.

And what does his passing have to do with his criminal record? There was no reason for you to mention that.

It has everything to do with it. Why do think it was even mentioned in the description above to begin with? It means he is inconsequential gang banger material hardly worthy of claiming his own thread. What is anyone really suppossed to say about it anyway,
besides "Sh** happens"?

He brags about how many times he's been banned and came back (over 20 times, I believe).

He's nothing but a gutless troll. Ignore him.

UT San Diego reports that it was a heart attack. Sometimes those are drug-induced, and sometimes they just happen. Until we know for sure, we can't say if his "trouble past" had anything to do with this.
