09:33 AM ET 10.13 | UCLA defensive end Cassius Marsh was ejected from the Bruins?' 37-10 victory over California in the second quarter on Saturday night and could face a Pac-12 Conference review. Marsh was called for offsides on back-to-back plays. After the second infraction, he was given an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty following a confrontation with a California player. Coach Jim Mora said he did not get an explanation from referees. Marsh said California players "were baiting" him, Mora said.

Way to go, Mr. Marsh. And just in time for the Stanford game next Saturday. Definitely a not-ready-for-prime-time player.

Good point. Why did Marsh take the bait? Hell the Bruins were beating Cal handily. By the way LUS, congrats on the LSU win yesterday. Now just Bama and A&M and throw this BCS BS into a cluster -uck. :-)

thanks...it was a good win...we were very lucky as usual... thank gawd UF beat themselves..Hopefully Gumps and eATMe do the same

You know when you first said that LSU would finish at 4-8 or 5-7, I believed you. Now I know never to take you serious again. :-)

Houson vs. SMU back in the 80's: SMU line was "baiting" the Houston D line. Houston line huddled up and on the next play the entire line fired into SMU's O line when the QB yelled "set!" It put the SMU line on their collective arses and of course there was a penalty and fines for the coach a few days later but the SMU line got the message. Those were the days.

OT.. I was very serious at the time...I am glad I am wrong..I was brainwashed by the media..

Well then maybe you should never listen to the media again. Look where it got me last year, when they had USC #1 in the preseason polls. :-)

I don't watch a lot of ESPN. I just read the local newspaper.

This season will end with the fluster chuck to end all Armageddon scenarios. Six undefeated teams, and Fresno St. gets my vote. Until they play their BCS bowl anyway.

I'm looking forward to a big cluster _uck in the BCS polls this year.

Starting to understand why Cassius didn't get admitted to SC.

Time for review of the play and those before hand, I know I was not the only one to see that the Cal player use both hands against Marsh above the shoulders at his helmet. Where was the call for that? Isn't the refs job to make sure the rules are followed and upheld? How do they decide which rules to follow and which not to? This was and is a gross injustice. NCAA FOOTBALL Rules and Interpetations states the following; Rule 9 SECTION 2. Article 1 Unsportsmanlike Conduct Fouls - Unsportsmanlike Acts.

a. Specifically prohibited acts and conduct include:

1. No player, substitute, coach or other person subject to the rules shall

use abusive, threatening or obscene language or gestures, or engage in

such acts that provoke ill will or are demeaning to an opponent, to game

officials or to the image of the game, including but not limited to:

(a) Pointing the finger(s), hand(s), arm(s) or ball at an opponent, or

imitating the slashing of the throat.

(b) Taunting, baiting or ridiculing an opponent verbally.

(c) Inciting an opponent or spectators in any other way, such as

simulating the firing of a weapon or placing a hand by the ear to

request recognition.

And I know most are aware of the rule of above the shoulders.
