Browns flooded with trade offers

10:24 AM ET 10.13 | Once the Browns traded Trent Richardson to the Colts for their 2014 first-round pick, the assumption was CEO Joe Banner and General Manager Michael Lombardi were "open for business." Almost anyone seemed available, even future Hall of Famer Joe Thomas. Teams have been calling the Browns and proposing deals -- most of them outrageously lopsided against the orange helmets. That is the source of nearly all the rumors, especially those about Josh Gordon. Basically, teams hope to steal Gordon from the Browns because everyone in the NFL knows the receiver is one more failed drug test away from a one-year suspension. Is it possible the Browns will make another deal before the October 29 deadline? Yes, but not likely, though possible. Is Gordon likely to be traded? Highly doubtful.

Browns don't take chances.
Right?

I guess the bigger question for Banner and Lombardi is what do they think the Browns are now. Especially with the QB situation.

Bottom line is that there is no way in hell I would trade Joe Thomas.

We haven't heard anything about the owner lately... Is he trying to save money or are they trying to build a giant?

Cleveland has several desirable players. Not sure if they're really open for business but if they are they could get a king's ransom for Haden or Thomas, or even a couple of their defensive linemen. Also Gordon and Cameron have good value.

Why do you bother?

Besides an annoyingly never ending stream of bold you literally bring nothing to the table. The brief recaps you post are redundant and honestly aren't worth the time you take to include the bold html.

Not trying to be rude but 6,400 comments worth of "lets make a deal bros is hardly worth it. Might want to step up your sports talk game...

Niners offense looks pathetic, they would be smart to trade a pick for another WR.

Given the latest injury to their OL the Steelers should check on the availability of Joe Thomas!

Given that they're a division rival, I'm sure the price is double for them.
