Titans showcasing Britt

07:21 AM ET 10.14 | For most of Sunday's loss to Seattle, Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt played the part of a spectator. Britt, who caught the only pass thrown in his direction -- a 7-yard reception with 4:42 left -- said he wouldn't sulk. "Me, I never give up on myself. I guess they did, I am not too sure," he said. "But I am going to work as hard as I have since Day 1. I am going to come back and work as hard as I can until my last day here." ... So are the Titans limiting Britt's snaps because they're trying to keep him healthy for a possible trade? Right now, that's not the case. The Titans have talked to interested teams in recent weeks about a trade involving Britt but nothing is imminent, according to sources familiar with the situation.

"Me, I never give up on myself. I guess they did, I am not too sure." Yes, Kenny, we did. Just want you to be sure.

It's not like a handful of flashy games are going to change any other team's perspective on Britt anyway.... they can review tape to see his body of work - occasional flashes of brilliance, but mostly mediocrity.

25% flashes of greatness, 50% mediocrity, and 25% narcissism that he's better than anyone else.

I'll pass...

I know there are some 49er fans that were pushing for the 49ers to trade for Britt when Crabtree went down. I think if the 49ers really had wanted him that they would have traded for him by now.

The did trade Jenkins to KC for Baldwin a couple of days before the teams met in preseason, you never know?

I can see some teams trading for him. But at what price? 4 or 5 round pick tops. He is UFA at years end and still thinks he was a worthy first round pick.

I am missing something here. If you sit a guy a lot and throw him one pass how is that showcasing? Sounds more like Hidecasing.

Awesome! +1 for you.

Up for auction is this troubled, underachieving receiver who is about to become a free agent . Anybody, anybody? OK, lets start the bidding with a 7 round pick in the 2014 draft. Anybody, anybody?

Now if the Titans QBs could only help him out there they would be showcasing him.

I read something last offseason at some point, it was an interview with their GM and he was talking about he was unable to sleep because he was waiting for the phone to ring regarding what Kenny has done now.

He's had some success...you could do a lot worse at wide receiver. ..wouldn't mind seeing him in Jets green and white if he's healthy....
