Much-needed help on the way for USC

07:37 AM ET 10.14 | These days, USC certainly could use cornerback Anthony Brown. [Brown] had not played or practiced since suffering a knee injury in the season opener against Hawaii. The junior, however, practiced Sunday, offering possible help for a Trojans secondary that was exposed the last two games. Brown, who started the opener, worked with the first-team defense during a one-hour practice that was conducted without helmets or pads. Defensive coordinator Clancy Pendergast also spent extra time with Brown after the workout. Interim Coach Ed Orgeron listed Brown as probable for Saturday's game at Notre Dame. ... All-American receiver Marqise Lee, who sat out against Arizona because of a knee sprain, attended practice and went through stretching drills with teammates, but he worked mainly with athletic trainers.

Bring 'em all back for the ND game--we want to whip the Trojans with no excuses about who was hurt and couldn't play.

That' the domer spirit I want to hear. We need Brown back, badly. Our corners have been getting absolutely torched. Healthy corners, Marqise back on the field with Algholor and the other kids. Helton spreading the ball all over the field. I feel a heck of a lot better about our chances in this game, than I did two weeks ago.

Wonder when was the last time USC and Notre Dame played each other and neither one was even a top 25 team?

I don't know about USC but Ohio State had its hardest game of the year this weekend.

Oh USC fans had pretty of excuses the last two years, not me included. USC-ND game is and always will be an interesting game. IMO, USC really has nothing to lose, as ND can't afford to lose this game.

ICE, I agree and I hope USC plays "fast and loose".

How about if they run the table after this weekend...?

Cool photo of Beyonce'.....i knew she wasn't all that. Well..well.....USC is having a few down years and the natives are getting restless. Remember, this all started w/ Carroll. He is the coach who ran his pro style training camp on the USC campus. He took off when he realized his magic had run its course and his school was going to get hammered for numerous NCAA violations. All you need to know about is Reggie Bush. The ONLY player in college football history who was forced to return the Heisman Trophy. Nice goin Reg....plus his parents stayed in a luxury apartment paid for by boosters. Carroll is a great coach..Why isn't he being mentioned as the next USC coach ? Me thinks he has WAY TOO MUCH baggage and might be forced to come before the NCAA rules committee to explain more of his misdeeds.
