07:22 AM ET 10.15 | According to Orlando police investigators, a driver intentionally hit a man with his car at a parking garage in the city this past Saturday. It turns out, the man struck by the car is former Orlando Magic Guard, Chris Duhon. [Duhon] and his brother-in-law, Julio Hernandez, were walking on the level 2C of the parking garage when the driver of a black Lexus started honking at them to get out of the way. ... [Police said the driver] stopped, got out of his car and argued face-to-face with Duhon. Hernandez told officers that he separated the driver and Duhon and that he and Duhon kept on walking and the suspect got back into his car. As Duhon and Hernandez got about twenty feet away from the Lexus, Hernandez told police the driver accelerated towards them. Hernandez said he was able to get out of the way, but Duhon was hit.

You need to do something about your anger issues. Specifically, road rage.

Was he hurt? The dumb driver should be jailed to teach him a lesson. Sue him for all his money. Nobody has the right to use their car as a weapon unless his life is in danger.

All jokes aside it should be assault with a deadly weapon at least. Hopefully Duhon is OK and can play somewhere this season.

I think he'll get that if Duhon was hit. Why is he still called a Laker instead of saying former Laker?

I would assume the driver was over 65 since it was in Orlando.......so it may NOT have been on purpose

Assualt with a Deadly Weapon.....and.....Aggravated Battery.

Driver (if caught) could get as much as 15 years in prison in most states.....not sure the exact max punishment in Florida....

QUOTE(#14):

So lets see if we got this right. Duhon is walking down the middle of the road blocking traffic and refuses to get out of the way. Argues with driver who then runs his **** over.

And the Driver is at fault? I would admit the driver over reacted, a touch, but still.

You all bad **** in the middle of the road and get run down. Now you're just a dumb ****. With a boo boo.

It was in a parking garage.....not on a road way.

Most parking garages have a 10 MPH speed limit and the walking speed for an adult male is about 4-5 MPH; so even if he were in the middle of the drive, he wasn't doing much to obstruct the traffic.

Finally, the driver clearly saw Duhan walking due to confronting him prior to hitting him, he got back in the car and hit him, and then continued on.

Yep.....driver is at fault. And come to think of it; you can add Hit and Run to the previously mentioned offense in post #18.

Damn, MMA don't take those Howard jokes too seriously. No need for road rage. lol
