07:26 AM ET 10.15 | Not long after the conclusion of their season, the A's are lining up a fair number of health concerns. Oakland's Sonny Gray and Josh Reddick are both expected to undergo surgery, and be ready by Spring Training, the A's announced Monday. ... Reddick, who played with a sprained right wrist for much of the season, will travel to Newton, Mass., to consult with Dr. Mark Belsky, a hand specialist who is expected to perform arthroscopic surgery on the Gold Glove Award-winning outfielder. He previously performed surgery on Reddick's left wrist in November 2011. Reddick's wrist issues are largely thought to have contributed to his woes at the plate. After compiling 32 home runs in a breakout 2012, Reddick hit just 12 this year, batting .226.

You can't hit with a bad wrist.

The A's did pretty well considering Reddick's physical limitations at the plate.

What kind of surgery can they do for a sprain?
