Change sweeps through Rangers' room

07:37 AM ET 10.15 | On the upside, the Rangers did not lose Monday, which isn't to say it was an easy day. Coach Alain Vigneault said after practice in Greenburgh that right wing Rick Nash "is still feeling some symptoms" from Tuesday's concussion in San Jose, and the team placed Nash on injured reserve. "Until I hear otherwise, I don't expect him back," Vigneault said. ... On top of that bad news, the organization placed goalie Martin Biron and right wing Arron Asham on waivers. Biron's departure was emotional for the veteran goaltender and his teammates, given his significance to the locker room and his role in the team's 2011-12 success. "It's not a good feeling," said Henrik Lundqvist. ... "We've been working together for a few years. It's just a great relationship. I don't know what's gonna happen."

Gotta be something in the water in Gotham City. I can't figure out why the Rangers OR the Giants are playing like this

Giants have some injuries and the secondary was never retooled.

Cant say I blame Sather. Biron is a shell of his former self; he gave up 3 goals on 5 shots.
Dorsett has taken Asham's spot on the 4th line and has found himself with some minutes on the 3rd line. Clearing Cap space.....

Don't mean to overly criticize NYR. Caps look disappointing too. Except for Ovie who looks like his old self again they have a lot of problems to date. Soft team defense and a lot of individual lapses, PK weak. Goalies like Swiss cheese. Holtby looked "better" last night but not cured yet. Ah well, only 76 games left.

But the Caps have this new fancy line change method...

I agree with this. I also believe they will right the ship. But I do wonder how long Nash is to be out....

The Caps toyed with the hapless Oilers at times last night. Scary to think what the Penguins will do to them tonight. At least the Caps have two very capable goalies ... even if in a bit of a funk right now.

Stop the presses.

MDZ has the "flu" and is not practicing today. Hagelin taking his place.

I can feel the angst in NYR Nation from here.......

I have no angst....I have full faith and confidence in Sather to **** up a wet dream. But, ah I guess its pay back for winning in '94 with the New York Oilers. Oh well.
