02:21 PM ET 10.15 | Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb suffered a fractured fibula on Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens after rookie safety Matt Elam delivered a low hit, but the good news is that Cobb is not expected to miss the remainder of the season. The only timetable that has confirmed for Cobb is that he will miss "multiple weeks," but reports state that Cobb should be out for six to eight weeks. It was obviously a big blow to the Packers offense, but at least he should be healthy enough to help the team down the final stretch of the season.

A cheap shot by Matt Elam.

You obviously haven't seen the Pack play. They're not exactly choir boys (ex: Matthews hitting Kaepernick about three yards out of bounds)

Maybe Aaron can do an injury-double check.

...that was horrible.

Yes. Yes it was. :)

NFL won't let you hit a guy in the head anymore... they're forcing defenders to go low.

An increase in knee injuries is to be expected.

To be fair though, I've had several scotches tonight.

Everyone has this idea, oh in 8 weeks his bone will be healed and he will be back in football shape ready to run routes. Pleeeeeeeeeeeeease. That's just silly and optimistic news leaked by the team to make the fans feel good. This is week 7 so he returns to play the last two games and face a possible re-injure? I don't think so.
Do the math and his season is probably over with the exception of them making the playoffs. Playoffs? Were talking playoffs?

Oh boo hoo... yes, thanks for reminding us all of the one fine the Packers received that, according to you, makes them a dirty team. Give me a freakin' break. And at that it wasn't a dirty hit outside of being out of bounds. Sorry you're so bitter about your team you need to come up with weak attacks on other teams. Elam's hit was waaaaay low. Nowhere near the torso.
