07:28 AM ET 10.16 | Finally, the injury news is good at Southern Cal. USC wide receiver Marqise Lee surprised Coach Ed Orgeron by running around Howard Jones Field on Tuesday and looking recovered from the sprained knee injury he suffered two weeks ago. "I had a great day today," Lee said. "By Saturday I think I'll be 100 percent." The fact USC plays traditional rival Notre Dame is also not lost on Lee, who said that would also influence his decision to return Saturday. "Of course. C'mon now," Lee said. " Notre Dame's a great team. Just going there in that atmosphere. Last time I didn't play as well as I wanted to." Lee was bothered by a shoulder injury in 2011 when the Trojans defeated the Irish, 31-17, and caught two passes for 36 yards. The star wide receiver was also asked about the firing of former USC coach Lane Kiffin. "They had to do what they had to do," Lee said.

Good weekend for college football. Besides Irish-USC, there is Clemson-Florida State,
Aubie-Texas A&M, UCLA-Stanford, and LSU-Ole Miss.

I think what bothers you the most is that ND is trending up on their way to a BCS bowl and Michigan...well, you know..!
