07:21 AM ET 10.16 | On the silver anniversary of Kirk Gibson's home run, the only magic for Los Angeles was an unfortunate disappearance. As the seventh inning of the most important game of his life was about to start, Hanley Ramirez disappeared into the Dodgers clubhouse, his head down and jersey untucked, his bats and glove in his hands. ... Ramirez limped into the trainer's room, not around the bases. He was finished for the night and, perhaps, the season. With Ramirez limited to six ineffective innings Tuesday night by a hairline fracture in his ribs, the Dodgers dropped a 4-2 decision to the St. Louis Cardinals. ... Ramirez made no promises he would be in the lineup Wednesday when the Dodgers host the Cardinals for Game 5. "I don't know," he said. "I don't know." But he promised he would try.

As long as he's ready for the next WBC, he doesn't really care.
I do have to admit this is a big blow for the Dodgers, he played extremely well when not injured this season.
I still hate him.

That's nothing, Bob Gibson and Bobo Newsom both pitched with broken legs.

It was apparent last night that rib was hurting his first AB he never swung the bat striking out on four pitches. his second AB he swung and fouled of a pitch and you could see the wince.. losing Ramierz' s bat and his power is a big blow to Dodgers offense. The Dodgers will need a gem from Greinke and Kershaw to stay alive in series.
