07:28 AM ET 10.17 | In a relatively short span of time, Ilya Bryzgalov has gone from a star signing in Philadelphia to a guy looking for a job in the National Hockey League. [Bryzgalov's] camp tryout with the Las Vegas Wranglers is over and now he continues to wait for an NHL opportunity. "Bryz will train at home in [New Jersey] until the right NHL job comes around," his agent Ritch Winter told ESPN.com via email Wednesday night. "He has turned down one NHL offer recently and will wait until the right opportunity presents itself. There is no rush. He is in great shape and ready to go when the right opportunity arises." Bryzgalov had agreed to join the Wranglers just for camp so he could train, and the team announced Wednesday they had released Bryzgalov from his tryout. The Wranglers open their ECHL regular season Saturday.

Ritch Winter is his agent? Hmmmm! I hope Bryz signs with the Rangers just so Glen Sather can have Winter by the throat one more time. Winter's just as crazy as his client.

True. Oatsie said "pass a bit more and give some other folks a chance at it". And Ovie responded "Nyet". Well, I'm counting anything less than 3 goals given up a good night for us. So that's only 4 goals given up in the last two games! We're on a roll.

False. He set up a beauty of a tic-tac-toe passing play on the league mandated "we need to see that Caps PP" 5-3. It's not his fault, Ward shanked his shot and missed a wide open Yawning net.

This game was awful to watch on the Versus network. That whole "in the booth" we PM, and Dingleberry in the situation room is horrible. Jonesy is the glue that holds that whole shebang together.

The idiots that be went on and on about the Rag's not covering the points on the PP, but yet no once did the geniuses discuss the extra 4 feet added to the zone over the years. But yet they go on and on about the neutral zone and getting through it, but fail to mention the lack of a red line and with the expansion of zones, there is what 10 feet between blue lines now?

It has been my experience that at least half of all the purported Hockey Insiders should never be allowed outside.
