07:21 AM ET 10.18 | Up until Thursday, it looked as if the Trail Blazers were finally on the road to good health. [Then] the team was dealt another sobering, if not serious, injury worry. LaMarcus Aldridge skipped the Blazers' Thursday practice to have his left knee examined, and his status for Friday's exhibition game against the Los Angeles Clippers is up in the air. The two-time All-Star and franchise cornerstone encountered knee pain during Wednesday night's exhibition win at Utah, and the pain lingered enough to prompt a visit to the doctor. Beyond that, the Blazers did not have many details to offer about the injury. "That's all I've got," coach Terry Stotts said. ... [Aldridge] has been dominant during the exhibition season. In four games, he's averaging 15.3 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.33 blocks -- in just 19.0 minutes.

Another Portland player with knee problems? What are they doing to these guys up there? Good grief!

They're cursed! LA should get out of there ASAP.

Aldridge isn't good enough to be a number one guy who you build a team around. He is probably the number 3 guy on a championship winning team. He isn't better than Chris Bosh - who is the number 3 guy on a championship team.

Wow! Somehow somebody forgot how some fans complained about trading him to Portland from Chicago. I'd say they are almost equal. LA has a better post game. Their jumpers are almost the same. Aldridge maybe harder to block because of his high release.
