03:07 PM ET 10.18 | Oft-injured New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola continues to miss practices after being knocked out cold in last week's matchup against the New Orleans Saints. It was obvious from the second he was hit that Amendola suffered a concussion, and he has yet to receive clearance to return to practice since the vicious hit. Amendola likely won't be able to suit up for this weekend's game against the New York Jets, so in the meantime look for Julian Edelman, Kenbrell Thompkins, and Aaron Dobson to occupy the top three positions on the roster for the Patriots in their key AFC East matchup.

I look for Austin Collie to see more action as well. He had a couple of key receptions in that final drive in the win against the Saints.

And Gronk. Once again, the Globe has reported that he's been cleared to play.

They also reported that Gino Cappeletti was seen catching passes from Tom Brady during a secret practice.

So much for being the younger, healthier version of Welker. At this rate Amendola will retire before Welker does. Brady might be an alcoholic by the end of this season.....especially if he played my new drinking game: every time a Pats receiver drops a pass, you take a shot!

Agree, but with his concussion history he is one bell ring from time off.

He will play, fall down, break the wrist in multiple places, the back in two places and the pelvis. This guy is a walking bone waiting to break
