Bradley calls out his Jags

07:11 AM ET 10.21 | Generally, it isn't much like Gus Bradley to take things down a negative path. And the Jaguars' first-year head coach, who largely has remained positive throughout the early part of the 2013 season, strayed further from that mood Sunday afternoon following a 24-6 loss to the San Diego Chargers than he had at any time previously. Bradley has emphasized improving and positive building throughout the early part of his tenure. And thus the reason for his tone Sunday: This wasn't improvement, and Bradley wasn't in much mood to be positive. "We talk about getting better, and we completely missed an opportunity," Bradley said after the Jaguars fell behind 14-0 and never got close than 11 points again in front of 59,550 at EverBank Field. "That's not what getting better looks like."

Losing only by 18 IS a positive.

"That's not what getting better looks like."

The man has a way with words and a grasp on the obvious.

I'm skeptical of the attendance figure. Did each person count for 10 each?

October 21, 2013  08:15 AM ET

They are positively improving their lock on the first pick overall.

I think the Giants will finally break the tie tonight.

It may be right... They literally give their tickets away.

October 21, 2013  08:33 AM ET

Get real. The Chargers have their act together and are playing very well. The Jags are a minor league caliber team at best. They did well to even stay in the game.

October 21, 2013  08:40 AM ET

I hope they've acquired a taste for fish and chips.

Would London want them though?

Once they draft Bridgewater they will... This team will turn around after next season for the better. As far as this season goes with the schedule they have they aren't winning a dang thing this year.

Not. This team needs more than one player to turn it around. They suck on so many levels

No, that figure was a combination of those in attendance and those watching on TV in the Jacksonville market

Word. And I've seen a few articles that Londoners don't want the Jags.

still seems to be inflated.

Including those watching figure skating on another network, and the vacuum cleaner paid programming show, and the Professional Shuffleboard preliminary round from the deck of the Costa Concordia.

I doubt there is anyone in London who has even heard of Teddy Bridgewater.

Let's not be too hasty here...

The Bucs aren't exactly improving either.

Bradley: "You guys play like a bunch of JAGS"

October 21, 2013  12:50 PM ET

Actually they are improving. All facets of the team failed yesterday. No one part excelled above the other. No one part showed any glimmer of professional ability. Gus should be complimenting them for their 100% lack of effort. That is very difficult to not have a bright spot.

they are all a bunch of Jags....
