Nets star has no idea on return

07:18 AM ET 10.21 | The Deron Williams watch continued Sunday, and while he appreciates your concern, he remains no closer to playing or a setting timetable for when that day might come. Asked about his injured ankle -- the most talked-about lower extremity since Achilles' heel -- Williams repeated, "I appreciate your concern for my health," four times. But Williams, whom the Nets had proclaimed would be ready for the start of camp, acknowledged he'll need to take part in full-contact workouts and scrimmages before he plays, and he has no idea when he'll do either. ... "I would definitely think you'd need to scrimmage before you go out and play an NBA game. I would think. I don't know, I'm not sure. I would think you'd have to do that, so when that happens I'll let you guys know."

What happened to the surgery that was promised during summer time? They're done if he is not healthy this year.

They have 3 more stars so they should be fine right!

Just when I was eager to see the Nets compete (at full strength)...

If you say so (LOL) !

Here we go again. I thought the biggest worry would be KG's minutes and Paul's health, plus Lopez's propensity to break bones. And now we hear their best player hasn't even recovered, sounds like he might even need surgery.

Bad sign if I'm a Nets fan. Guess the Heat cannot be stopped after all.
