Wolverines overhaul offense on the fly

07:29 AM ET 10.21 | Over the past two months, Brady Hoke's offense has taken a good deal of heat. The Wolverines turn the ball over too much. Al Borges' offense could barely score against Akron and Connecticut. Hoke and Borges have been too stubborn. They were forcing a power scheme that just wasn't working. Well, after Fitz Toussaint rumbled for a 27-yard touchdown run to bring Michigan's point total to 63 on Saturday -- shattering the school's all-time total offense mark in a 63-47 win over Indiana -- Borges had officially entered mic-dropping territory. Nine touchdowns, a school-record 503 passing yards by Devin Gardner, 248 yards on the ground and 751 yards in total -- more than any other team in Michigan's 134-year football history. Criticize that.

Mich fan- Not only one game but a game where the Coach of the other team said "we dont have the talent to stop teams, so we just try to out score them" Or in other words score more cause we cant stop anyone.

and it was Indiana....a team with limited _efense, and an up-tempo offense.

I enjoyed the game because their were a lot of game plays by both teams. But their are some out their that have no teeth and drink to much White Lighting and think and third grade education is all that he needs.

I heard a quote once which was attributed to Fielding Yost (although I seriously doubt that he said anything like it): "Deirs dose what score and dose what don't score. Dat's all ya need to know about football."

QUOTE(#9):

Fat man Hoke the Chris Christie look a like has some explaining to do at Michigan. Maybe stop eating everything in sight Hoke and start game planning. Akron and Conn showed you know nothing but calories. a few hours a day watching game film instead of the food channel on a tread ill would help greatly. Hoke is starting to look like a grounded Seal flopping around on the Michigan Sideline.

Didnt they still win? By a Def stand?

All you ever do is make fun of how he looks. Though most points true, he still can coach. And he is dealing with a bunch of Fresh, and RS fresh. Wait till they become upperclassman, before you say a thing.

Remember your URB didnt win a NC without a def, coached by....... UM def. corr. Mattison.

He's starting to look like a seal with a PERFECT 15-0 career home record, I concur my troglodyte friend.

If scoring against bad teams was so easy then teams would be putting up 60+ against IU every week. But they're not, are they?

No they are not...............IU's offense is for real, they need to focus on their "D" as does Michigan

They can have the milk money...just leave me my namesake money and a bag of Doritos.

So Penn State without 34 added scholarship players beats Chris Christie's/Brady Jokes Michigan team WITH OVER 40 PTS. Indiana lays 40 some points on the WOLVES? Akron and Conn two powers almost beat Norm from Cheers team. Time to fire this overweight Charlie Weis clone.
