07:29 AM ET 10.21 | What a difference a few weeks makes for Georgia, which has fallen from the Top 25. Of course, more than a little of Georgia's recent demise has to do with a plethora of injuries that has befallen the team, and there were two more starters who went down on Saturday. For those keeping count, that's seven starters sidelined with either season-ending injuries or injuries that require multiple weeks of recovery. Also out for the Vanderbilt game last week were tailbacks Todd Gurley (ankle) and Keith Marshall (knee), wide receivers Michael Bennett (knee), Malcolm Mitchell (knee) and Justin Scott-Wesley (knee) and safety Tray Mathews (hamstring). Richt did express optimism that Gurley and Bennett "will have a pretty good shot" of returning for the Nov. 2 game against the Gators in Jacksonville.

I'm wondering if Clumpson is all they were made up to be or just picked a bad time to have their clunker game. If they really are good, I move FSU ahead of both Bama and Quacks. But, that's just me.

Yeah, Georgia's season is toast. In fact the whole SEC is toast this year, except for Bama and LSU can still beat them. :-)

And Auburn has a good shot at beating Bama, but IMO Auburn is overrated like Oregon State is in the 12 PAC.

LOL, yeah this whole article is one "big excuse". Are we going to have to listen to this whole "coulda, shoulda, woulda", BS about Georgia's injuries the rest of the season and into next year. Maybe I can use this same "excuse" thing for USC pathetic performance the other night against ND. :-)

I dont know if Clemson deserved to be #3 at the time..Top 6/7 for sure...And FSU went into their place and destroyed them.... I am impressed!!! That is the best win of any team up to date!!

Agree, FSU really impressed me against Clemson, but there are still some big games coming up, like UCLA/Oregon and Oregon/Stanford, LSU/Bama, Auburn/Bama, FSU/Florida and Ohio State/Michigan and that could change the whole BCS poll. I also agree with you about Clemson being overrated and being #3. Just who has Clemson beaten, besides Georgia??

Why are you giving FSU so much love??? Yes they are very good, but if you are only going off the Clemson win, then you might be confused about how good Clemson is/was this year. Clemson has had only one win against an average team and that was Georgia. Clemson's SOS has to be at rock bottom.

WLOCP gonna be more like settling the questions of "Whose man-down/man-up program is gonna work best", and who has the best medical staff.

Hey, now, injuries can be an brutal on a season - you don't agree?
