Metta World Peace challenging Carmelo

03:12 PM ET 10.21 | When Metta World Peace signed with the Knicks this summer, it bolstered the Knicks' wing depth, and added a tough player who can play good defense. World Peace still has something left in the tank, and they are going to be using every ounce of it this season. Well, you can only imagine how much trouble World Peace is going to give Carmelo Anthony in practice. World Peace has already praised Anthony, and he should make him better every practice. The Knicks could very well win more than 50 games again, and World Peace could play a significant role.

5 years ago this story would have meant something. Not really as believable any more.

Haters will hate but truth be told the Knicks are definitely a much better team this year than they were last year, and they were pretty good last year.

Nice! Maybe the Ron Artest will come out in him? Nah, that was buried once he won a ring.

Give them a chance to play a real game first Doc. You might change your mind after 20 games.

I like MWP, but he can't really play anymore, way to slow to stay with anyone on defense, and not a very good shooter. He won't help the Knicks at all, and I don't see them winning 50 games.

True, And a lot of these nay sayers may do the same. But of course then the chatter will shift to what will happen in the playoffs. You know. Just to keep the hate going as long as possible.
