Colts looking for WRs

07:15 AM ET 10.22 | At the thought of being without Reggie Wayne, Chuck Pagano became emotional on Monday. Despite Pagano's and Wayne's ambitious prediction that Wayne will return to action, that day won't come for quite some time. For now, the Colts have to play their remaining nine games without Wayne in the receiving corps for the first time since Nov. 25, 2001. ... So look for the Colts to consider free agents and trades. The NFL's trade deadline is Oct. 29, and General Manager Ryan Grigson undoubtedly is feeling pressure to bring in a receiver capable of contributing immediately. But after dealing a 2014 first-round pick to the Browns for Trent Richardson, Grigson has to be judicious where trades are concerned. Unless the Colts make a move of consequence, Wayne's production will have to be replaced by those in house.

Would you like to take Miles Austin? PLEASE!!!

As a Bronco fan, I suggest bringing Terrell Owens into that locker room immediately.

he's ridiculous! they baby'd him all thru OTA's and training camp and didn't make a difference. Keep Beasley on the field and leave Austin in the locker room.

TO and OchoCinco. I don't think Terrell can bring down the Colts all by himself.

Aaron Hernandez! They can post his bail as a signing bonus. If I were serious I would say Hakeem Nicks, but the Colts don't appear to have anything left to trade for him.

Yep. Williams is now #2 and Beasley #3. Hell - I'd put Harris ahead of Austin.

Can't play - can't use ya!

Except they are shutting him down because of hamstring problems. The Colts need someone who can play now. AND, this February they restructured his contract. Fine, but they put about $7 million in signing bonus money that is spread over three years. That can is still down the road.

I suspect they will look at everybody's practice squad. Is Ocho doing anything?

I would too... I think he caught a TD against us.

We need Receivers.
