07:29 AM ET 10.22 | So far this season, the Bruins have yet to give Tuukka Rask a night off. [Rask's] new backup, Chad Johnson, has played zero games. That is a ratio that cannot last, and it may change [Wednesday] night when the Bruins face the Sabres in Buffalo. "We'll probably give him a shot there at some point, and Buffalo may be one of the games we give him," said Bruins coach Claude Julien after yesterday's lengthy practice at Ristuccia Arena. ... [The Bruins] play three games in four nights starting tomorrow, including a very rugged showdown Thursday at the Garden against the top-ranked San Jose Sharks. With the first pair of back-to-back games, the time is right for the 27-year-old Johnson's first start. "We haven't made the final decision yet, but I will put him on notice," [said Julien].

Yeah, give him a chance. You don't pay Ochocinco to sit on the bench.

Three games in four nights? That's absurd. Hockey was meant to be played twice a week.

October 22, 2013  09:49 AM ET

May as well let him get his feet wet against arguably the worst team in the league.

Anton Khudobin was a decent backup for the Bruins...

Follow the bloodlines.

Time to play Chelios Jr. Jr.

October 22, 2013  10:12 AM ET

I makes sense to me. Danny's been giving Buffalo the Johnson for years now.

October 22, 2013  10:27 AM ET

Yeah..............Saturday night and Sunday afternoon. LOL.

That was supposed to be a reply to Burgh Fan. And, Danny's right too 'bout the Limpics.

Yes he was. I think he's on IR right now with the Canes, though.

He's not ready yet, and he'd just be out of position to give up the GWG in the final minutes.

His play for the Canes, has resulted in teams asking about the availability of Ward.
