D'Antoni going deep without Bryant

07:21 AM ET 10.23 | Not only is Kobe Bryant's absence on the court immeasurable from the perspective of mental toughness, but also statistically in his shots and minutes. As for Bryant's minutes, will Lakers coach Mike D'Antoni simply spread them out to the rest of the roster? "Yeah," D'Antoni said [Tuesday]. ... "Unless somebody grabs it. That could happen. We'll just keep monitoring things. There's a lot of guys that deserve to play." Just how many guys will actually play consistently is up in the air, but even when Bryant returns -- and especially when Bryant is out -- the Lakers look to be playing with a deep, deep bench. How deep? D'Antoni said over the summer he would try to employ an 11-man rotation. When reminded of that statement this week, he said that 10 is more likely.

"Unless somebody grabs it. ... Funny quote. Will the ball be spread when Kobe comes back? I know you have to soread it out now unless Nick Young takes over Kobe's role.

A new quote. Will Guam ever have another NBA crush once Kobe retires?

And I don't even know what soread means...

Here is what needs to happen LA. You need to pick up Lamar Odom, I don't know why we got rid of Mette World Peace, and I think we should go out of our way to buy Bynum back. What the Hotel Eco Lima Lima is going on with Mitch Kup? Now we on't have to do anythings and suffer the consequencies or, we can do just what I mention. Don't bring me that,"It's impossible, It can't be done.
