01:43 PM ET 10.23 | The Dallas Cowboys are without starting running back DeMarco Murray, who has been dealing with a sprained ligament in his knee, so they have been forced to turn to rookie Joseph Randle to carry the load. Last week against the Philadelphia Eagles, Randle had a solid performance in his first start, which has drawn praise from team owner Jerry Jones. Randle will likely get the start again this week against the Detroit Lions, but he will have some added back up with the return of Lance Dunbar.

This is the same guy who routinely touts the "accomplishments" of Tony Romo.

He likes to talk up every Cowboy player, most likely to counteract the GM criticism.

The Raiders will offer up Darren McFadden and a 3rd round pick.

JJ's over-selling it. Randle didn't screw anything up but he was far from spectacular, or whatever adjective Jerry used.

Unfortunately.

Reminds me too much of the kinds of deals JJ is infamous for, the kinds of trades that have Dallas in line to be $31 million over the cap next year, with much of that in dead money.

As much as I love the thought of Peterson in Dallas I shudder at the potential ramifications of such a deal. Lost draft picks and salary cap hell and such.

murray needs to go.... along with austin. this team is in trouble as far as cap money in '14. JJ is an idiot GM and this team is paying for it now

I hope that Suh stomps on JJ's face.
