Penn State targeting OSU's Miller

07:22 AM ET 10.24 | For nearly everyone who witnessed the move, it remains lodged in their memories a year later. It went down in the box score as a 1-yard run, but it was arguably the best individual play made against Penn State's defense all of last season. Ohio State quarterback Braxton Miller pulled back a handoff to fake out a defensive end and most of Beaver Stadium, side-stepped a few would-be tacklers and leaped into the end zone during his team's 12-point victory last Oct. 27. A year later, Penn State will get another crack at stopping No. 5 in scarlet and gray, who orchestrates a Buckeye offense that averages 45.0 points and 493.1 yards per game. "I definitely remember that play, because he made one of our linebackers miss with his little hesitation move," linebacker Stephen Obeng-Agyapong said. "I see pictures of that play all the time."

It's one thing to plan. It's another thing to do.

Targeting is a 15-yard penalty and somebody gets kicked off the field.

Yes and SEC is already whining about it. Go figure.

Tell Urbie about it. He was complaining at his PC this week about the ejection of Bradley Robey. His replacement cost us 2 tds in blown coverage against Iowa. I thought an ejection was not warranted in the Robey case. 15 yds but no ejection

What the hell BUCKEYE Quad

I know this story features PSU wanting B. Miller's blood, but BO'B was playing rope-a-dope in the article. Absolutely no mention of tOSU's porous defensive secondary. Hackenberg's looking to make mincemeat out of 'em. Should be an exciting game.

Refs may have been targeting Roby, BB. He'd been involved in a few close ones prior to the hit on Fiedorowizc. I think they were looking for an opportunity to throw Roby out.

That's not a home comment as I posted last week that Iowa would give us trouble. PSU does not have the line Iowa has nor do they have the skill guys.

They are hurting and Hackenburg will not know what to do with 106,000 screaming at him under the lights. Pick 6's galore.

I'm only half-joking. I think they watch film, too.

Mornin', GR!
