07:22 AM ET 10.25 | Mario Williams, according to Bills teammate Aaron Williams, is "a freak of nature." "A guy that big who can move that fast, it's just unbelievable," Aaron Williams said. "I'm really happy that he's on our team." Bills fans everywhere are tickled pink to have Mario Williams right about now -- including the greatest pass rusher in team history. ... Williams is tied for second in the NFL in sacks along with Kansas City's Justin Houston, behind Indianapolis' Robert Mathis. They are on pace to break the NFL record of 22.5 in a single season, which was set in 2001 by Michael Strahan of the New York Giants (sacks became an official NFL statistic in 1982). "My biggest thing is the ones that I missed," Williams said. "We went back and looked at it -- there's about four or five, literally, that I missed."

You guys are so cruel. It's bad enough watching the games. But every game has been close...

If you break the sack record as a Bill, and no one is there to see it, should anyone care?

well, according to Geico, if a tree falls in the forest and nobody is around to hear it, it still makes a noise. so.........

Wait, Buffalo has a team?

Yes, and the best new head coach hire of the new group. He is a builder and he has a good start. He knows the NFL, played in it and then put that Saints offense in to practice from theory....

I think this franchise is beginning to see the light at the end of the, albeit long, tunnel.

Breaking any record in Buffalo is akin to being the valectorian at a community college while your twin brother graduates from a tier one institution.

Hopefully if one of these guys breaks the record they'll do it legitimately, unlike Strahan.

October 25, 2013  01:17 PM ET

Everyone castes this guy away last season right ?

Their last game is against the Patriots. Would Brady be willing to lay down like Favre?

Isn't Mario a DE ? The headline says LB ??? Kiko Alonzo is the LB with the most distinction. He's go 70 tackles and 4 INTs and he's just a rookie !Go Bills.

I was about to say... at this time last year he had a massive bag of nothing while the Texans were the darlings of the AFC.

It's Buffalo so nobody will notice.

A career habit of taking plays off will do that to you.
