Penn State RB runs out of the doghouse

07:33 AM ET 10.25 | Welcome back, Bill Belton. [Belton] had fallen so far into the background it seemed as if he was gone. The last images we saw of this Penn State running back in 2012 were of him on the sideline, the place where he seemed to be permanently stationed as he contributed one rush and one kick return in the final four games. This summer, the troubles continued. Belton struggled with academics and missed some workouts as a result. Though he always said he wasn't considering a penalty-free transfer, and coach Bill O'Brien maintained Belton would be eligible, it was easy to imagine this Penn State team without Belton. ... For his play, O'Brien rewarded him with a promotion of sorts: He has moved up on the depth chart this week and is listed as a co-starter with running back Zach Zwinak.

If the Buckeyes don't tighten up their pass defense, this could be a shoot-out.

I'll give that musing a B1G +1.

I am on record already so I am not gonna change opinions here today. Ohio State will kill this team. The game will not be close. I predict a 15-20 pt win tOSU.

PSU absolutely has no answer for the offensive speed and skill of Ohio State. They will be forced to become one-dimensional (passing) and the kid will be a deer in the headlights. Pick sixes galore for tOSU.

15-20 points isn't a rout by any means BB.

Well, at least not for anyone except for that parent from FW Western Hills that filed the bullying charge on the Aledo coach.

I'll play Devil's advocate and say tOSU defensive secondary is a sieve. Unless immediate pressure is brought to bear on Hackenberg, it could wind up being a basketball game in cleats.

Come on Harly ,Roby and the rest of the secondary are gonna have career days after the D-Line puts pressure on the QB all day long.

I think I covered that with the AP blurb I retrieved from one possible future.

Last time PSU went on road they lost 44-24 to Indiana. That's right Indiana put up 500 yds and 44 pts. Turnovers were = @ 1 each.
So if INDY can hang 44 and win by 20 what do you think will happen when they visit the shoe???

This will be ugly
