10:05 AM ET 10.26 | There's a court battle brewing between Alex Rodriguez and Major League Baseball -- over which court to slug it out. Jordan Siev, a lawyer for the Yankees star, notified Manhattan federal Judge Lorna Schofield Friday that A-Rod's legal team wants to move his lawsuit -- which claims MLB and Commissioner Bud Selig are on "witch hunt" to force him out of baseball -- back to where it was originally filed, in Manhattan Supreme Court.

This is not going to happen. The New York Supreme Court will in all likelihood transfer the case to the United States District Court. The USDC will then likely determine that this issue is governed by the Collective Bargaining Agreement and will dismiss A-Rod's case.

I say he will end up getting no more than 100 games. Technically this being his first offense, he should only get 50.

No, I meant regarding whether the NYS Supreme Court will retain A-Rod's case or bounce it to the Feds.

Oh, I really have no idea what the courts will do, but I do think this POS has a legitimate case wherever it ends up.

I can't wait for both A Fraud and Budlite to disappear from the game for good.

Why more than Braun? Half a season is my guess. Slug Selig will not be happy about the outcome.

Because Braun copped to 60 without putting MLB through this?

First offense? This slug has been a walking offense for several years. He should get the 211 AND a Chuck Norris kick to the groin.

And after the kick, if he makes a sound, release the Kracken!

But that's just me. I've gotten soft over the years.

I'm gonna be howling when the courts overturn the MLB suspension and A-Fraud is the starting 3rd baseman for the Yankees next spring.

Then finds a new PED they're not testing for and hits 74 HRs.
