06:44 PM ET 10.26 | The Utah Jazz front office announced on Saturday that the team has signed veteran point guard Jamaal Tinsley in light of the injury to rookie Trey Burke. Tinsley spent each of the last two season on the Jazz, averaging 3.6 points, 4.0 assists, and 1.6 rebounds per game during that stretch. He started 32 games for the Jazz last year, averaging 4.8 points, 5.4 assists, 2.2 rebounds, and 1.2 steals in those games while leading his team to a 20-12 record. Trey Burke, the ninth pick in the 2013 NBA Draft, broke his finger in a preseason game against the Los Angeles Clippers earlier this month.

I am actually pretty shocked they didn't offer him a long term deal worth millions.

Tinsley is lucky to have a team. After what he did w/ the Pacers, I'm surprise that he still has an NBA job.

QUOTE(#3):

.......why not just give a young guy a chance and see if maybe they can get lucky and find a player that might be a rotation player for them down the road?

Well.....if they'd waited one more day, they could've signed Seth Curry.

They still can............
