09:53 AM ET 10.27 | Chris Smith says being J.R. Smith's brother has its advantages. But the younger Smith gets angered by those who think his brother is the reason he's on the Knicks. He said he's being harassed on Twitter. "I can't even have a social media because people are coming at me because they think my situation is something different," Chris Smith said. "I feel like I earned my position on the team and I'm going to keep on earning my way here. "I think people don't really look at my talent, they just look at J.R. is here . . . Has it helped me? Of course. That's my big brother. He has helped me a lot." Smith, guard Toure' Murry and center Cole Aldrich survived cut day and likely will be on the Knicks' opening-night roster. The Knicks waived Ike Diogu, CJ Leslie, Jeremy Tyler, Josh Powell and Chris Douglas-Roberts before Friday night's preseason finale against the Bobcats. Smith's contract becomes guaranteed if he's on the opening-night roster.

Sad! Seth Curry got released. GS had every reason to keep him but they made the right move. JR has become the new Isiah. He got the Knicks by their balls.
