Tim Tebow's NFL stock hits rock bottom

10:19 AM ET 10.27 | Jimmy Sexton, Tim Tebow's agent, reached out to the Rams after Sam Bradford's injury, but they were not interested. A couple of teams have kicked the tires on Tebow this season, but ultimately backed off. Some were scared off by the Tebow Circus caused by his immense popularity. Tebow has been working out in Los Angeles and continues to want to play in the NFL. So, if you are keeping score at home, the Rams preferred Brett Favre over Tebow, got rejected, then went for Brady Quinn, who played behind Tebow in Denver and is now with his sixth team since he nearly fell out of the first round in 2007, and Austin Davis, whom nobody but his family has ever heard of. That says it all about what the NFL thinks of Tim Tebow. "From Day 1 when we were scouting him, there was always interest in his athleticism, his ability to win, as a football player, but not as a pure quarterback," one general manager said.

IT'S NOT TEBOW TIME

I would take an Old Bret Farve, but not a Brady Quinn, just goes to show you what I know!!!

Brett Favre and Tim Tebow in the same article. Gentlemen, we have a winner.

Some owners are slower to catch on than others but it looks like everyone has the game film on this clown.

Tebow isn't the least bit concerned about catching on with an NFL team because he is raking in the $$$$ with speaking engagements, endorsements and jersey sales. He makes more money than most NFL stars.

Looks like John Elway was right.

If he wasn't concerned with catching on with an NFL team, why did his agent contact the Rams?

October 27, 2013  11:17 AM ET

Thank goodness. I actually thought the Rams lost their minds wanting Tebow. This guy is not an NFL QB. His agent is of course shopping him looking for another pay day.
I hope the circus freek never gets another chance, I think he loves to look at himself in the mirror for long periods of time weeping that his masses miss him.

Tebows agent is just as hungry and Favres agent. Hey if they sign, you get yours.

Correct.

They didn't want an undrafted rookie QB in Jeff Tuel being forced into action if Thad Lewis gets hurt.

If it weren't for the media and his lack of talent to be an NFL QB, he would be great!

The Rams contacted Tebow's agent. Please get your facts straight.

He doesn't lack talent, he just isn't an accurate passer. Paul Hornung was drafted to be an NFL QB but Vince Lombardi switched him to RB because he wasn't an accurate passer. Hornung was inducted to the NFL HOF.

That's what I thought, but the article says the opposite.
