10:34 AM ET 10.27 | The whispers from Team Canada executives: Longshots Joe Thornton and Patrick Marleau are now on the Olympic radar and if the team was picked today, they would be on it. Same for Colorado's Matt Duchene, the one young gun making inroads.

Veterans playing way onto Team Canada roster?

Well, Remembrance Day is coming up and as much as I respect our Veterans I still think it's wrong.

Maybe Marleau. Canada has way too many centres as it is, so I highly doubt the other two.

Olympics in Russia, without much hope of seeing a live game, and the worlds ugliest unis. Then South Korea <that hot bed of winter sports) in 2018.

<fast forwards to 2022 in the hopes things get better, not optimistic>

Bring back the Canada Cup!!!!!!!

Its pretty much a sure bet that the NHL won't be sending any players to South Korea, so I think this is the last Winter Olympics that the pros will be playing hockey.

Photobombing. I didn't wanna get too close lest the police sniffer dogs come around and a mysterious odour affixes itself to me, so I let my friend do so instead.

Swarthy, European good looks and intelligence too.
