04:53 PM ET 10.27 | There have been rumors all season long that running back Maurice Jones-Drew could be on the trade block for the Jacksonville Jaguars. MJD hasn't performed up to his usual standards and that is making teams hesitant to acquire the aging back. On the season, Jones-Drew has carried the ball 103 times for 416 yards. That gives him a 3.1 yards per carry average, a mark that would be over a full yard lower than his previous career low. He can't be entirely to blame for his performance. The Jaguars have struggled on offense and dealt with injuries along the offensive line.

Jags ain't getting dick for MJD. No market for that scrub.

Double negatives are awesome.

Nice math. Try a little over 4 yds per carry.

GGGGGGGGGGGGGGMen!! Jets!

He probably wouldn't mind being traded. Still, who's going to give up

Except that the number the article got wrong was the total yardage, not the YPC. The article should've said MJD has gained 316 yards on 103 carries, which is where the 3.1 YPC comes into play.

I really admire his play and desire, but I just don't see a market for him. He's 28 with a lot of miles....just the way the market for RBs is.

I think the Bengals scored again.

Jets made Dalton look like Rodgers, sorry to say.

And made Marvin Jones look like Calvin Johnson. Who was covering Jones, anyway?

Discounting the obvious answer of of course, nobody.

I didn't see the game but I'm assuming Cromartie was on Green, so does that mean Milliner was the guilty party?

I saw a little of the game, but can't recall Millner's name being called.

The Jets took a gamble letting Revis go. And apparently lost.

That being said, I have absolutely no clue what the Jets are. The only thing I know is the QB is young but still has more upside than Sanchez ever had.

I'm going to avoid using them on parlays the rest of the year. They are the Jekyll-Hyde of the NFL.

The trade rumors are just that: rumors. The NFL isn't MLB, where if you get a third baseman in June you can plug him in the lineup the same day.

The Browns move Richardson right under the media's nose, and all of the sudden, the entire league is rumored to move players.

Who would trade for this psycho?

Plus, isn't he also like 78 years old?

MJD has little Value, now I'd the time to dump da Vets!!!

A big-name, over-priced, past-his-prime "skill position" fading superstar, looking to cash in on one last big contract, and draw waaayy above-market trade value? ......... if only Al Davis were still alive
