07:09 AM ET 10.28 | In the form of Brandon Gibson, the Dolphins have suffered beyond the L that hung on them in frustrating fashion. [Gibson] left the field on a cart Sunday after suffering a first-half knee injury against the New England Patriots. It might be the last time we see the Miami Dolphins wide receiver in 2013. NFL Media's Albert Breer reports the initial diagnosis for Gibson is that his knee injury likely is season-ending, according to a source briefed on his injury. The injury is believed to be a torn patella tendon. Gibson was injured coming down on his left knee after attempting to make a leaping catch on a high Ryan Tannehill pass. He was limping badly as he came off the field. Gibson had a 4-yard touchdown reception in the first quarter Sunday and had been a nice addition to the Dolphins' offense this season.

When he came to the sideline, you could tell his primary emotion was anger, not pain. He knew he was done for a while.

He did have an opportunity to do that yesterday, but I can't recall hearing his name mentioned in the second half.

Or Hartline will undergo hypnosis to overcome his fear of the end zone.

Sorry to hear that. Apparently when you lose a player, all hell breaks loose and you kicker misses field goals, passer fumbles ball away and tosses picks. Good thing the kicker and qb didn't get hurt, the stadium may have collapsed.

Is that the Jets hanging by a thread ahead of The Dolphins in the standings? It must be a miss print!

After the game, the Massachusetts State Police served Mike Pouncy, the Dolphins' center, with a subpeona in the Hernandez case.

Dude doesn't seem to play too hard. With a handle like that, you'd figure he'd at least give them "60 Minutes"

again this is bad as gibson had become one of tannhelils go-to guys in the red zone as he had 4 straight games with a td and was doing what wallace was supposed to be doing
