Eichorst mum, but Bo's ice may be thin

07:25 AM ET 10.28 | Losing to Minnesota isn't going to settle down many fans in Norman, and the speculation may heat up soon. No one outside of Chancellor Harvey Perlman and Athletic Director Shawn Eichorst knows for sure if Nebraska coach Bo Pelini is truly on the hot seat. What is clear is that mind-numbing losses like Saturday's in the sixth year of a regime are what put coaches in administrators' crosshairs. So I wouldn't be shocked if things have heated up substantially following the debacle at Minnesota. Just don't confuse "hot seat" with "automatic removal." ... Any official account must come from Eichorst, who in his one year at NU has shown zero inclination to speak publicly on anything, much less offer opinions on football. Eichorst politely declined to be interviewed Sunday.

Bo be gone after the season.

" Losing to Minnesota isn't going to settle down many fans in Norman, " Did we move ? I have been getting a few calls but I don't think they will fire him now. If we get beat this week it could get ugly. Bo and staff got out coached Saturday and his love affair with T-Mart needs to end. Bo should have taken Taylor out in the second quarter. Not sure about what our defense is doing, not a one of them deserves a Black Shirt.

I agree unless he wins at least four more games. It would help his cause if they could beat Michigan and Michigan State and then win a bowl game.

When did they move the University of Nebraska to Norman, OK?

If Minnie wins 2 of its remaining 4 games, losing to them may not look so bad. It's actually conceivable. Minnie plays @Indiana, PSU, Wiscy, @MSU. If the Killer Gs D can mute Their Nebs, they can interrupt Indiana as well, and if they beat IU at IU, then they should be able to triumph over PSU at home.

Kil-ler Gs! Kil-ler Gs! Kil-ler Gs! Kil-ler Gs!
Gooooooo, Gophers!
Minnie! Minnie! Minnesota!
GO!

Truthfully they got a shot against Ped St. The other three have "L" written all over it.

One good thing about the AD not talking, he isn't giving Bo a vote of confidence!

Only reason he is still there is some people still remember the bill callhan era.

Best have interested candidates identified before showing Pelini the door, or Their Nebs could wind up with their own Kiffin-Dooley fiasco.

If he continues to run Martinez out there over backups who have performed as well or better, he will be gone. We have some QB's who are the future of the program, Martinez's level of play has consistently declined. Time to move on...
